Session times

Children attend for a minimum of 2 full days, which provides the opportunity for regular repetition of skills which have been learned and ensures that they get maximum benefit from the program.
Kindy children often combine going to the local kindy with continuing at Smart Start. This enables them to continue building on the skills they have learned during the previous years and provides them with learning opportunities which will complement their kindy experience.

• Our Shenton Park centre is open 4 days per week : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
• Our Swanbourne centre is open 3 days per week : Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
• Our Scarborough centre will be open 3 days per week as of 31 Jan 2012 : Monday, Thursday and Friday.
• The class size is 20 - 25 children with 3 teachers.
• Full day : 9:00 - 3:00 pm, children bring their own morning snack and lunch
• We remain open during the holidays, apart from a 4 or 5 week period over Christmas. We have four 12-week terms during the year.

Fees

• Non-refundable application fee: $30 to be paid when lodging the application form
• Advance fee of $200 is payable at the time a place is offered. This is usually in July when the places for the next year are confirmed.
• The understanding is that your child will attend for the full year.
• Fees for the full term are payable 4 weeks prior to the start of the next term or by 1 November for term 1 of the next year.
• Fees for 2012:$64 per day.
• You do not get charged a fee for public holidays.
